Publishing a Site From Adobe Dreamweaver

How to publish a website using Adobe Dreamweaver

Before publishing a site from Dreamweaver you will have to define the properties of the site, to indicate to Dreamweaver about the location of the archives of your equipment and to indicate the servant in whom you wish to publish the site.

If you wish to define a site in Dreamweaver:

  1. In the menu Site, it selects New Site. The screen of Definition of the Site will be opened.

    • Servant FTP. He indicates the name of servant FTP without the ftp:// area code. For example,

  7. In order to assure to you that you have indicated the name of user and correct password and that Dreamweaver can connect with the servant, you click in the button To analyze.
  8. If you wish to keep the adjustments, you click in Accepting.

If you wish to publish your site:

  1. It opens the site in Dreamweaver.
  2. In the menu Site it selects the option To put (or it presses Ctrl+Shift+U simultaneously).
