To add Registries of Resource

In order to add a new registry of resource to the zone:

  1. Beam click in icon DNS within the group Services.
  2. Beam click in the icon To add to New Registry within the group Tools.
  3. It selects a type of resource registry and indicates the following data:
    • For a registry To you will have to introduce the domain name for which you wish to create a registry A. If simply it is defining a registry for your domain, leaves the field available empty. If you are defining a registry To for a servant of names, you will have to introduce the entrance for the same (that is to say, ns1). Then you will have to introduce direction IP of that you wish to associate the domain name.
    • For a registry NS, you will have to introduce the domain name for which you wish to create registry NS. If you are defining a registry NS for your domain, it leaves the field available empty. It introduces the name of the servant of names. You will have to introduce the complete name (that is to say, ns1.mynameserver.com).
    • For a registry MX, you will have to introduce the domain for which you are creating in registry MX. For your domain, simply it leaves the empty field. It introduces the mail interchanger, that is the name of the mail servant. If you are executing a servant of remote mail denominated ‘mail.myhostname.com’ simply introduces ‘mail.myhostname.com’. Now you must establish the priority of the mail interchanger. It selects to the priority using the drop-down square: 0 is the top priority and 50 are the minim. Ten in account that you must add the registry and/or CNAME in case of being applicable for the servant of interchange of remote mail.
    • For a registry CNAME, before you must introduce the domain name alias for which you wish to create registry CNAME. Now you must introduce the domain name in which you want that the alias resides. You can introduce any name of domain. This it does not have why to reside in the same servant.
    • For a registry PTR, before you must introduce the direction/mask IP for which you wish to define the redireccionador. It introduces the domain name to which this IP must be translated.
    • For a TXT registry, you can introduce string of arbitrary text, that can be a description or registry SPF.
